"Sunny Day Cat" Art Pattern by Jim Pettyjohn
The third of the Cat Series. Use Cat on the Ball, Tuxedo Cat, and Sunny Day Cat together on a quilt or on your wall. They go together brilliantly.
If you want an art quilt, trace (with a Sharpie) this outline design onto fabric using a light box. You may use the 13 x 13 size or resize smaller or larger. You have permission to change the size for personal use but not to be used for resale and profit. We suggest a variety of art quilt techniques:
1) Paint the fabric using Jacquard paints. Heat set the paint with an iron after the paint dries. Then quilt on lines and/or within the areas on a longarm or domestic sewing machine.
2) Fill in each area of fabric by couching on yarn.
3) Fuse applique into each area and stitch or couch around the lines.
4) Use as a rug hook pattern or Oxford punch pattern. Trace the design onto linen or monk’s cloth. Create the perfect art piece, pillow, or rug.
Use this downloadable 13 x 13 PDF outline to trace the image onto fabric, monk’s cloth, or use your choice for other techniques. Your purchase includes the downloadable outline, a suggested color page, and a detailed color guide. Print the pattern in tiled format and tape together.
